As followers of Jesus, we want to imitate Him by living on mission like He did. And we know He had a heart for children!
As such, Bethany is again partnering with the Department of Children and Family Services to bless & provide gifts for the children & teens who are living in foster care.
However, this year we are going to narrow our focus to the teenagers in the program, who are often overlooked when it comes to holiday gifts. Bethany is committing to providing 50 gifts for teens in foster care, which will be given away at their Gingerbread Lane Bowling Party the first weekend in December.
We need 50 gift bags for teens, included in each
- A $25 gift card to Target or Walmart
- A small goodie included in the holiday giftbag (i.e. wrapped candy, ornament, chapstick, fun little gadget/toy, etc.)
In addition, we will be taking new, unwrapped toys for children under 10 years old.
We are asking that all donations be brought to the church lobby or office by Wednesday, December 2 so they can be distributed the first weekend in December.
