Student Ministry

Welcome to Bethany Youth Ministry!

If you are in grades 6-12, we want you to join us. We like to hang out, play games, sing loud, and build relationships that last a lifetime. Pastor Jacob Nielsen leads a team of amazing staff who intentionally build into the lives of students, helping them grow to live and love like Jesus. Parents, The Student Ministry Team and I greatly appreciate your partnership. Whether that is encouraging your child to invite friends or the ability to help give rides to and from events. It truly takes a community to help make ministry happen! Stay informed & sign up for our weekly email list by clicking here. Follow us on Instagram: bethanysmlb

Sunday Mornings

9:00 - 10:30 AM | High School Room upstairs in the Foxhoven Building

During the connection hour, both Junior High and High School students gather to study scripture, share a meal, work on a service project, or have a chance for personal study. We want to create a well-rounded experience for students to understand how to live as a follower of Jesus.

Wednesday Nights

7:00 - 8:30 PM | Upstairs in the Foxhoven Building

Middle school (6th–8th grade) and high school (9th–12th grade) students receive weekly, biblical teaching and worship in the large group gathering. In age and gender-specific small groups, students talk about biblical passages and topics, learn how to grow in their spiritual life, and have space to ask for prayer or confess sin.

BYF Nights (Bring Your Friends)

The heart of our BYF nights is to create an easygoing space for students to invite their friends to youth group events. This year, we've moved all BYF nights to the weekends. Also, these events will not be combined and will be separated by JH and HS. Check out the events below for the next BYF event for your grade level!

Events

Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe." 1 Timothy 4:12
