As schools begin again for a new school year, The Long Beach Rescue Mission is committed to supporting Long Beach Unified students in need by providing backpacks filled with school supplies. As a church, we can be a light in our community by helping the Long Beach Rescue Mission with those much needed backpacks and supplies!
Our goal is to provide a couple hundred backpacks by August 28th. Use the image/link below to access a list of needed supplies.
Donations can be dropped off :
- At the church office Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM
- At Pray for Schools Walk on Wednesday, August 26 at 8 AM
- In the service on August 28, when we will pray for the students who will receive them.
No time to shop for supplies? You can visit lbrm.org and use the pulldown fund "Backpacks" to make a financial donation.
