Getting to Know Reggie Samuels, Elder
Tell us about your immediate family?
To God be the Glory! I am blessed and happily married to my wife, Macleana of 33 years this year. We are blessed with many children always around us both here in the United States, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. We are blessed with a biological daughter, Kathleen who is growing up into a young beautiful lady. My family and I are originally from Freetown, Sierra Leone. Our family has been attending Bethany for over 18 years.
What is your job &/or hobbies?
I am an accountant and have been working with figures throughout my career. I am now working with figures and in operations management. I love to sing and have been singing in a church choir since I was a young boy at the age of 7. I love photography and gardening.
What do you want people to know about you?
God is loving and faithful to my family and me. I love to joke and try to put people at ease. I believe that whatever situation I find myself in, God will see me through. I always encourage my wife that, this too shall pass away.
What do you love about Bethany?
Bethany is a Bible-believing church. The people at Bethany are friendly and also I love to praise God by singing in the church choir. We have the opportunity to be part of small groups, to meet and discuss scriptures. We also have the opportunity to serve in the areas of Elder, Deacon, Guest Experience and Children's Ministry.
