Child Dedication

"Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6

At Bethany Church, we want to encourage and equip parents as they raise up children to be followers of Jesus. One of the ways we do that is by partnering with parents to dedicate their children  and parenting to the Lord. This allows us to pray for your family as you pray for your child and lead them in the knowledge of Jesus.

Furthermore, we believe that child dedication is a symbolic act, with parents committing to the following:

• To presenting your child to the Lord, seeking His guidance and blessing on your child's life
• To demonstrating the love of Jesus to your child and to one another
• To presenting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, as an example of faith to your child
