Colossian Way Series: Political Talk

While we might not agree on a lot of things, we all can agree that politics has become one of the most divisive issues in American families and churches.

This fall, Bethany will be hosting a Colossian Way Series on the topic of Political Talk. Participants in The Colossian Way take up the practice of gathering together and loving God and one another while engaging challenging issues.  We do this in the hope that, when done in faithful ways, we will witness the body of Christ built up. The goal is less to remove a specific issue once and for all, and more to build a capacity for working on important questions in a way that reflects faithful obedience to Christ. At Bethany, we hope that participating in this group will hone a spirit of understanding and love for one another amidst our different views. 

We inviting a diverse group of people with differing political views to gather with us on Sunday mornings at 9 AM for ten sessions, beginning October 8, 2023. 

This class is now full. We hope to offer it again in 2024. 

Let's glorify God by learning how to engage in difficult conversations while still demonstrating the love of Christ.
