Bethany Church has a long history of sending and supporting missionaries around the globe. We also have a tradition of providing short-term summer trips during which our congregation can take part in sharing the Gospel through word and deed alongside our missionaries. This Sunday, Pastor Ben will share a message about the importance of proclaiming the Gospel and he will share our upcoming 2026 short-term summer mission trips. Participants in short-term summer teams will have the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone, contribute to the good of the team, be flexible and ready to serve alongside our missionaries and people from another culture.

Mexico | March 27-29 & October 16-18
Participants on this 3-day trip will serve alongside Genesis Diez with a medical clinic, maintenance projects, prayer, and more. There are many ways to serve beyond medical experience, including being a driver for the team. We will take two trips to Mexico this year.
San Diego Trip | July 16-19, 2026
Participants on this trip will serve the Japanese community alongside the Kashiwaguras in San Diego with a church service and a Japan Fair, which includes prepping food, leading music & kids programming, and other cultural activities.
Kenya Trip | July 17-27, 2026
Participants on this trip will serve in the village of Nkoisusu by attending to the physical & spiritual needs of the community by visiting homes, listening & praying with people, building school desks, and leading Bible lessons for kids & adults.
Honduras Trip | July 18-26, 2026
Participants on this trip will serve the mountain community alongside our missionaries Paul & Tania Steer. Participants will facilitate VBS & Sports Classes, adult Bible classes, home visits, food & Bible distributions plus light construction projects.
Gleanings for the Hungry Trip | November 16-20, 2025
Participants on this trip, open to individuals & families, will serve alongside Bethany School students to blend & package dried soup mix that is used around the world as a tool for sharing about the love of Jesus. There are also opportunities for quilt-making, summer fruit season prep and other handiwork around campus. This is a great trip for families!
