Easter Series: Easter In The Psalms

New Series "Easter in the Psalms"

Easter is the culmination of God's work of redemption for His people. Sometimes we can take Jesus's death and resurrection as an isolated event, something new God is doing that is not truly connected to what has come before or to the narrative of the Old Testament. But as Jesus goes to the cross in His final week, the connections and images from the Old Testament are evident. On Palm Sunday, as Jeus enters the city, the people cry out from Psalm 118. On the cross, Jesus cries out from Psalm 22. Then Psalm 30 reminds u s that although weeping may come at night, joy comes in the morning. This Easter we are going to experience the story of Easter through the Psalms as we prepare our hearts for Jesus's arrival, experience His death on the cross, and celebrate that Jesus turns our mourning into dancing.

So if you are in search of refuge and rest.

If you feel like the world is crashing in on you.

If you are looking for hope.

Come and hear how Jesus rescues, redeems, and brings salvation.

We have created a 6-week devotional booklet entitled "Easter in the Psalms" to help as we prepare our hearts for the Easter season.
